International Dressage rider and trainer Paul Hayler is back at Unex Towerlands with a brand new teach-in and demonstration aimed to help anyone get started in Dressage to Music.   Renowned for his entertaining and informative dressage displays, Paul will show you where to start and how to put together your own ‘freestyle’ test, with top tips on the best music and moves to suit all types of horses – from Cobs to Thoroughbreds. Even if you’re not a huge dressage fan, Paul’s skill on horseback is fascinating to watch and makes this the ideal way to spend the evening on Saturday 1st December!

‘Putting dressage to music can be a real challenge but it’s amazing, both to watch and perform, when it’s done well. My sponsors, Baileys Horse Feeds, also support the British Dressage Novice Freestyle Championships and I’m delighted they are helping me put on this evening so I can unravel some of the mysteries surrounding this area of dressage and encourage more riders to give it a go.’ Paul tells us. The evening includes performances up to Grand Prix level, starring some of Paul’s best horses, and it all ends with a glittering finale which will be sure to enthral riders and non-riders alike. During the interval there will be plenty of time to grab a bite to eat or drink and to browse a selection of equestrian trade stands to get some great Christmas gift ideas.

Doors open at 7pm with “curtains up” at 7.30pm. Tickets are only £20 and include a souvenir programme, info on getting started in dressage to music and free entry into the Prize Draw for a chance to win a lesson with Paul and free feed from Baileys.
