All of the Baileys product range is manufactured using raw materials sourced from non-genetically modified crops with ingredients being bought as "Identity Preserved". This means that they have been produced from non-GM crops and are subject to a rigorous documented audit trail to ensure traceability. Importantly, Identity Preserved raw materials are segregated from potential GM contaminants ie. other raw materials that may originate from a GM source, at all stages of the production process including harvesting, storage and transportation.
Using only Identity Preserved ingredients means that Baileys are on the Soil Association’s list of recognised manufacturers of non-GM horse feeds a fact which is of particular relevance to those customers who keep their horses on organic farms.
