Baileys' Fibre Range products may be fed simply as an additional source of fibre-based slow release calories and, when fed in smaller quantities (0.5 – 1kg per meal), may be added to the compound feed to encourage chewing, slow consumption and also slow the rate of passage through the digestive system. If the maximum meal size is met with mix or cube alone, Baileys Fibre Range can be fed in a separate bucket.
Golden Chaff is a traditional chopped wheat straw chaff with a molasses coating and is ideal for adding to mixes or cubes to stop a horse bolting his feed and to encourage more chewing. Its molasses content may also tempt the fussy feeder and makes it ideal where supplements or powders need mixing with the feed.
