This classic non-heating “pasture mix” is the ideal choice for all types of horses and ponies at rest or in light to moderate work. Free from whole oats, the delicious blend of cereals is micronised to ensure maximum digestibility of the starch content, and the mix supplies quality protein for excellent muscle tone and tissue development and repair. It is fully balanced with vitamins and minerals for health and well being and contains soya oil for a shiney coat.
Oat-Free Horse & Pony Mix is a truly versatile mix and is ideal for all horses and ponies who thrive on lower energy feeds, including leisure horses and competition horses in early fittening work and light competition. It can also be fed alongside Lo-Cal balancer, to those in harder work for whom a higher energy mix may provide too many calories, causing them to gain weight or exacerbating an excitable temperament. The mix contains Baileys’ popular Garlic Supplement which adds its familiar aroma and flavour helping to tempt the fussy feeder.
