And We're Off

Last Sunday was the first outing of the season. As this was a local Riding Club show I could not ride them as it’s not fair on the others! But the young horses needed an outing and I needed to see how they would react to travelling, standing on the lorry and going round with others. So it was a girl’s day out. I was the useless groom, driver, organiser and photographer.

Frog, aka Super Moon, did the novice horse class finishing fifth! It was good experience as both rider, Amy, and cob are very novice!! Stable mate Stacky, aka Planet Nine, also did the class with Bell who comes up to help when she is not at school. He behaved well but is very green!! Ozzy the ex-racehorse, aka Mr Oosh, did the hunter class with Bell. She did well but found him a bit big as after all she is only 13 years old. It's hard to find somewhere to take the youngsters to!! Next stop is a huge clinic on 12th March! Helen Gordon from Baileys will have her hands full.
