Bucks County Show 2018 & Starfall's First Time Showing Side Saddle

We’ve been a few miles this week, but only took a couple out!! Bucks County Show was a bit busy for Cappa Sham! He started with the Ladies’ Side Saddle class, which was by far the largest class, this year! We were pulled in down the wrong end of the long line up! After the ride, we went up to fourth place, which is very hard for cobs as some judges prefer hunters! Then off to the Coloured class, where he finished Reserve Champion and Reserve Supreme Coloured Champion.

We came home Friday and went off again on Saturday to Morton in Marsh with Starfall. He hasn’t been out for a while and needs a few miles before HOYS. I put the side saddle on him for the first time! Mad, yes! For his first time I wanted a good ride judge. He went really well but wasn’t placed, although I didn’t go for that, so, I’m going to try again at the National Championship Show, next week!!
