From Heathfield to the Surrey County Show

At Heathfield Show the Baileys Boys were on great form. Volantis was Champion Cob and Jovian won a strong Maxi Cob class, despite the strange the weather!! At home it was really hot and sunny but at Heathfield, less than 60 miles away, it was raining heavily and was freezing cold!!

From Heathfield Show to the Hertfordshire County Show. This time we only took 2 horses including the new race horse, who only came out of training recently following his last run on 11th May, to see how he would cope. He did cope so that means he can stay!! I also picked up a new cob named Bear from the breeder. He is 4 years old and I hope to add him to the Baileys team. There is also another new racer on the way!

At Surrey County show, Dorton, an ex-racehorse had his first outing of the season. He was placed fourth, which is great as this was an open class and his first outing in an open class. Volantis won the Coloured class and was Reserve Champion in the Cob class whilst Cappa Sham was Coloured Champion and won the Maxi class. So all in all the Baileys Boys had a good weekend with 6 wins. Next stop is the Royal Bath and West Show!!
