Hickstead Derby Meeting

Well, it’s the first day for the Baileys Team at the Hickstead Derby meeting. We’re so lucky that one of my favourite venues is local. Taking three boys, I started with Epimetheus in the HOYS Light Weight class. It was a tall order for his first show!! However, he went really well and just found it a long way around the ring! He was pulled in in third place but was a little tired when the judge rode him and finished in fourth, so, pretty good really. Starfall, who is still a novice, won and qualified for HOYS, so it was another great result. Cappa Sham also gave me a great ride and finished third!
