Midlands County Show

Saturday morning was bright and early as we set off to the Midlands County show with Mayfield High Flyer and Cappa Sham. As this is another quiet venue, Mayfield High Flyer (aka Morris) did the Ladies Side Saddle HOYS class! He has only had the saddle on once but, as I knew the ride judge would give him a good ride, I took him just for this class, as did about 20 others! He finished in fourth place, which I was very pleased with.

Cappa Sham did the Maxi Cob class in the indoor arena as I wanted him to see the arena before the HOYS Coloured class, the following day. He collected a second place and went well. The following day he was joined by 21 others for the class and won, which was fab. He has now qualified for two classes at HOYS so it will be busy, busy!
