Newbury and Thame

Newbury was an early start with Planet Nine doing the Light Weight cob class. He was a bit green but went well and notched up a third place while Cappa Sham added another win to his score and was Reserve Champion. The new kid on the block, Buzz Whizzer, a 15.2 coloured, had his first outing in the Coloureds and came second. We did end up taking more dogs than horses with the two new puppies!

The next outing, and the second time for Buzz in the Coloured class, was at Thame where he was third. He was still green as he has not been here long! Planet Nine was also green but is improving and went on to win the Light Weight Cob class in the pouring rain. Volantis did the same in the Heavy Weight division and was Reserve Champion while Cappa Sham won a large Coloured class and was Champion along with a second in the Maxi Cob class. It was the last outing of the season for Mr Oosh, who is another fair-weather pony!! He hates the rain and picked up two third placings!! So, one more show then off to HOYs, and no, it's not a holiday afterwards but working on next year’s range. Watch this space!!
