Royal Windsor 2016

Well to say that the Royal Windsor Horse Show was wet would be an understatement! Wednesday was cancelled because of the rain but that was no problem for the Baileys team as we weren’t entered! We only took a few horses as most are youngsters and entries are expensive! Cappa Sham was pulled in top in the coloureds and finished a worthy second, especially as this was his first show on grass.

Jovian was a good boy, despite it being his first major outing and having never had a run on grass. We also did the side saddle class! He was pulled in last as he was spooky with so much going on, but he gave the judge a good ride and went up to fifth place, which was a repeat of the novice class. So the next show was the Devon County Show! Another trial for the Baileys Babes!

Devon was really busy but a very good experience for the babies!! Tarvos finished sixth in a very big class and Jovian was also fifth. I am really pleased as it was only their second time in a grass ring and there was heaps going on.

The coloured classes the following day were jam packed and Cappa Sham won the horse class and went on to be Reserve Champion. He also did the Horse Of the Year Show Side Saddle class and finished in fifth place.
