Sunday Showing Clinic

Most folk on a Sunday go down to the pub and have a Sunday lunch! Not me, it's showtime! We had an amazing pre-show season clinic with lots of really nice horses and keen amateur riders really eager to learn. Helen Gordon came from Baileys Horse Feeds and was judging the best turned out rider and best turned out horse in each group. Helen brought the weighbridge and most horses were weighed, which was a really useful exercise. She then gave feeding advice to those needing it. Not only is the weighbridge used for working out feeding but a good exercise for those travelling horses in smaller lorries where the pay load needs to be taken into account. A fun day had by all and guess what another next week!!! No Sunday lunch for me!!
