The Festival of Hunting 2018

We had another early bird start on Wednesday to beat the M25 as we set off to the Festival of Hunting. The alarm went at 2.40am – ugh - but worth it.

It was the second trip out for the new Helios, who is still green!! Managed to take the Reserve Champion Cob though, so, I was very pleased as it was the first time he had been ridden by a judge! So important at this stage of the game.

Mr Oosh won the ROR, so a great result for him and two on the “trot”. Cappa Sham did the Ladies class, the biggest ever, and was pulled down the bottom but went right up to fourth place. Just a little sad as Jovian won here twice, picking up his HOYS ticket but, onwards and upwards, I hope.

No rest as we have a really busy week coming up with the Royal International fast approaching!
